The Outpost Micro Hotel

I really enjoyed my stay at The Outpost and plan to return the next time I’m in the area. Great location with plenty of restaurants and shops in walking distance. The hotel is unique due to sharing bathrooms and showers but they are very nice individual shower units that are conveniently placed through the facility. I highly recommend you give this place a try if you want an affordable place to stay 6 minutes from the Bozeman Airport.

Nice affordable room near the airport (3 minute ride). Overall, the rooms and bathrooms were clean and the other guests were respectful of that too during my stay. There are dining options within walking distance as well. The only item of concern was that sound from other guests and TVs traveled between the rooms and hallways.

Location was excellent. Stayed 1 night after landing at Bozeman airport, as we didn't want to drive immediately on the opposite side of the road after flying for 17 hours. Actually walked to the airport the next morning to collect our rental car, it's that close! There's a shared lounge area, and shared kitchen, but also a TV in the bedroom, so it's kind of like a hotel cross hostel. We were aware of the shared bathroom situation, and it worked well for us - they were clean, and there were plenty of them which is all I needed. Price was higher than I'd expect for this type of property, but to be fair it was cheaper than everything else in the area so maybe hotels are just expensive here. There is a little noise from a cargo train and other residents, but I guess whether you can sleep through it depends on your sensitivity to noise. Jet lag meant I slept right through it. The main downside for me is the lack of windows in the room. This wasn't advertised on the booking site I used. For 1 night + jet lag it was manageable, but I wouldn't want to stay multiple nights without a window.

I stayed at The Outpost on October 10, 2025. Everything was exactly as described, and even better! Beautiful, comfortable, and quaint, with all the amenities a person would need. Management was easy to communicate with. Amarillis was very responsive. I arrived after the front desk was closed, which I was aware of. The room was clean. There are many bathrooms available and all are clean. It was a very quiet place for me to stay when I needed to be up by 4 a.m. for an early flight. I highly recommend The Outpost Micro Hotel. I will stay here every time I am in the area.

I booked a room here last minute after a flight change so I could be close to the airport. I didn't have any problems with noise, like other reviewers, but my room did have disposable earbuds if needed. Room and bathrooms were clean. Check-in is contactless- entry instructions were sent prior to check-in. Management was very responsive and friendly when I texted requesting a late check-out. My experience here was nice and easy, and the price was great.

Gets the job done. Rooms are pretty sterile which is fine but great bang for your buck in this area. Entire check in process is via keypad and I never saw anyone working at the hotel.

I honestly cannot rave about this place enough. The property is beautifully set up. The common areas are equipped with these gorgeous plush leather couches and chairs. The rooms have super comfy beds with nice linens and some of the best pillows I’ve slept on. I cannot wait for reasons to be back in the Bozeman area to stay again. This was one of the best experiences I’ve had at any hotel.

The only bad thing I have to say is that the pillows were to hard and high and both the pillows and the bed had a plastic lining that made it hard to sleep. Other than that, I love the reminder text, the check in was easy and the hotel was very clean with clean showers, laundry and a kitchen. Loved the place. I do recommend it
